The history of PSN
Every good story starts with a “there must be a better way” moment — and that’s exactly how PSN began.
As a seasoned Head of Payroll, Jody often found herself expected to know everything, but had no one to swap ideas with.
Payroll can be lonely, and Jody knew something was missing. Having already dipped into mentoring she knew the power of shared experience and thought… why not build a space where the whole payroll community can connect, support, and laugh together?

In January 2025, the Payroll Support Network officially hatched with its first general payroll session.
Iain was already part of Jody’s professional circle, having connected via LinkedIn and it wasn't long before Jody asked him to help shape PSN from the ground up. Stacey, Lisa and Sat joined in Spring 2025, each leading a distinct area of the group.
